I was asked to post this for anyone who might have missed it this morning:

  1. So sorry Boris! She was a very caring person, it was obvious even over the airwaves. Can't express how chocked up and saddened I was when I heard you this morning. My sympathies to all of you at the station, her family, and friends.

  2. I know it must have been difficult to get through that Boris but I am glad you did it. I forgot alot of the funny audio bites you used to play. "A couple of shots of vodka I'd be down on my kness..." CLASSIC!

  3. I don't get to listen to your show any longer being out here in Montana and with the time change and everything. I am so sorry that she lost her battle with cancer. I loved listening to the two of you in the morning. I was very sad when she left the show. I met her once and she was so friendly. I bet she is smiling down at us right now though!

  4. Every day driving to high school I listened to you and Jen. She became a friend, as did you, Boris, and an important part of all my teenage memories. Listening to your tribute brought back many, many happy memories of showing up at school with a smile from laughing the whole way. Thanks Boris. I'm so sorry Jen's family. Praying for you all.

  5. Boris, I'm an old listener of the show, unfortunately I can't pick it up down here in Florida. I remember when Jen joined the show, and unfortunately when she got sick... This is terrible news, and I'm very saddened to hear about this. I think this is a great tribute to Jen she was a great asset to the show, it's such a shame this happened to such a good person. I know she's going to be missed. I really enjoyed hearing this tribute to her. Hang in there Boris, keep doing what you're doing. My deepest sympathies to you, and Jens family and friends, I'm sure she'll be sorely missed.

    -Best wishes for continued success on the show Boris.

  8. I always used to listen to WRRV as a kid when i was growing up in Cold Spring, NY and it was always fun to be listening to Boris and his crazy cohorts. Jen was by far, my favorite. When i moved to FL, the one thing i missed was being able to listen to Boris & Jen on a daily basis. It really saddens me that she passed on, I cant even begin to tell you how depressed I am. Boris, stay strong man. If you want to write me, my email is jbenecasa@gmail.com

  14. Geez- I don't even know what to say. A friend of mine called this morning to ask me if I was listening to the show. I wasn't as I was running around the office and hadn't had a chance to stream it. He told me to turn it on immediatley, Jen had passed away Friday. I never met Jen, never spoke with Jen, but I can't help but feel so much sadness. Jen came on the show when I was in High School. I listened every morning and she always made me laugh. I remember her leaving the show and I remember her being diagnosed with cancer. My friends and I are big WRRV fans. We're always winning our way into the parties and always laughing about what we heard that morning. We're all in agreement when we say that Jen was and always will be our favorite co host. Listening to someone every morning for years, it almost begins to feel like you know that person, or at least what kind of person they are. Jen was an amazing person and I'm sure she's making God laugh.

  20. Terrible news hearing of Jen's passing. She was the best sidekick Boris ever had, she always put him in his place! I met Jen at her WRRV going-away party at the Dutch Cabin in Poughkeepsie, unaware of the fact that her reason for leaving the station was due to a cancer diagnosis. The world is a worse place without her.

  21. I would like to extend my sincere condolences to the friends and family of Jenn. Boris, I'm so sorry that you lost your dear friend. I remember when Jenn won the contest. 33. I was shocked and saddened to hear of Jens passing this morning, and shed a few tears after listening to your heartfelt broadcast. I was one of the lucky listeners who actually got to meet Jen and witness first hand her sweet & outgoing personality. I will always remember the bus ride to go skiing, kickin back at the bar for a few,Jen reciting that lovely song over the intercom and Mackay putting out the tv fire. She will be missed but will be in pain no longer.
    I have posted my favorite poem that reminds me of those I lost,

    Do Not Cry
    Do not stand at my grave and weep,
    I am not there; I do not sleep,
    I am a thousand winds that blow;
    I am the diamond glints on snow.
    I am the sunlight on ripened grain;
    I am the gentle autumn's rain.
    When you awaken in the morning hust,
    I am the swift uplifiting rush
    Of quiet birds in circled flight.
    I am the soft star that shines at night.
    Do not stand at my grave and cry.
    I am not there; I did not die.

  34. Jen was the best ever. She really brought out the funniest parts of Boris and gave him a challenge. I'm very saddened by her passing. My son moved away years ago but always said Jen and Boris were the best team and he missed her in the morning bits.

  35. I started listening to Boris and Jen in the morning when I first started college, and listened to the show every morning until I graduated. I actually met Jen at an event before even meeting Boris. It was a sad day when she left the show. My thoughts and prayers are with her family and friend.

  43. I've been listening to WRRV since the beginning and I loved litening to you and Jen. I remember meeting you and Jen at a benefit walk at RCC a while ago. 46. I moved from Warwick 8 years ago but every time I drive home and I hit the northern most range of 96.9 I turn it on immediately and then switch to 92.7 as I get closer to home. To this day WRRV is the greatest radio station I have ever listened to and Jen was the greatest morning co-host you guys had. I used to listen every morning when I was in high school and she was hillarious. She will truly be missed.

  47. Music All Morning with Boris and Jen - best morning radio show ever! I remember thinking when she was chosen,that she would not work out, but after about a day, I realized how wrong I was. She was such a great foil for you Boris - so innocent and easygoing. A real natural - I also remember you guys on 9-11. It was such a surreal time, but at least I could listen to you guys on the way to work. And, I remember when she was diagnosed - how friggin sad that was. And really, really friggin sad now. Great tribute Boris - my sincere sympathies to you, and to Jen's family, close friends and to long time listeners like me. God rest her soul.

  48. Boris, thank you for that beautiful tribute. I missed hearing Jen's laugh, and her version of the "Renegades" song. It still makes me laugh!! It was obvious you two were friends, and that you enjoyed being together. You both made my mornings easier, and created many memories. I was so sad when she left, but we were all so lucky to have had her in our lives in someway. She was my favorite co-host. I'm sorry you lost your friend, and I'm sorry for her family. Strange how someone I never knew could have such an effect....

    Thank you for posting this tribute to Jen. I worked with her at Peak Physical Therapy and I have never met a more beautiful and truly nice woman. She was such a sweet girl who took the time to help everyone she came in contact with. Even on her hardest days with her illness, she worked as hard as she could and didn't want to stop. She will be loved and missed. My prayers go out to her family, especially Bob and all of her friends at the radio station and Peak.

  57. Boris and the WRRV famly, I am so sorry for your loss. I also worked with Jen at Peak in the summers. She not only taught me a great deal about PT but more importantly, an unstoppable positive attitude. She ALWAYS smiled, laughed, and joked. It is so obvious that this world is a better place for the short time anyone was fortunate to have been touched by her. Thankfully she was a radio personality and touched so many people. I was sadened that I wasn't able to attend the funeral today, but your tribute reminded me that just hearing her voice makes anyone smile. Jen's light will never blow out--when you think or hear her--she still makes you smile!

  58. I loved listening to Jen. She was the best. I can't believe she's gone.

  59. When I first moved here from NYC I couldn't stand the radio stations, and then I found RRV. I used to listen to Jen and Boris every morning on my drive to work, and Jen just cracked me up. Here chemistry with Boris was unique and special. Although there have been other co-hosts, none has brought that same light and fun spirit. I can't believe she's gone. She touched so many people at such a young age.

  60. Wow, just hearing her voice again for the first time since she's left made me smile... and then laugh! My prayers to you and her family, keep it rockin' for Jen!

    The show has not been the same since Jen left. She was great. She has been missed since that day and now can live on thru sound bites. Keep her alive Boris. She was truly one of a kind.
