What the hell is this thing?

These guys found some strange sea creature in Japan and what do they do? Poke it with a stick, of course. Probably wasn't a good idea (you have to see what happens at the end).

    C'mon, are you kidding me ? This is so clearly a fake.. you can tell they're acting and the camera work is deliberate. Also the stupid creatures run at what seems to be the speed of sound when the people are 100ft away, but when approached with a stick they stay put ?
