My wife likes watching John & Kate Plus Eight. It's a show on TLC about an angry hormonal woman and her beat-down, shell-of-his-former-self husband who she had sextuplets and twins with. The show follows the whole creepy family as Kate publicly berates and humiliates John, stripping him of any sort of self-worth he once had, all while the couple exploits their kids for loads of money and promotional products.If you've ever seen J&K+8, you know that John just sits there and takes all of the crap his cranky wife and 8 snotty kids throw at him. It was just a matter of time before he busted out of that hell and let loose at some college party. I can't wait to see his next TV show: John - child support for all those damn kids = selling his blood for food money.

ReplyDeleteI agree with the March 9 Post on this page. Joh is a youthfull young father who is rulled to the fullest by his wife who is too uptight. Of course she is a busy parent, but it seems as if Kate doesn't let herself have fun, and seemingly demands that Joh shouldn't ever have fun or relax either. Jon can't even be youthfull when trying to play with the kids without mean comments from Kate. Who doesn't want to play around like a kid sometimes especially if you have eight of them.
I had been waiting for John to crack under the pressure in some way. No on can live with constant criticism. You notice there is never really mention of Kate's family. There are things that make you believe it was negative. But, therein lies the answers everyone is looking for. Once we knew how her childhood has affected her adulthood, things may become clear.

ReplyDeletein most cases i don't think parents that are unhappy together should stay together. in this case with as many children that are involved they should really try to work it out!! can you see either of these parents trying to blend this family with a new one? or do they plan to stay single all their lives? or maybe they think there is someone who is willing to be a stepparent to eight of someone elses children? even if j&k are unhappy together their focus should be the influence this going to have on the eight children that did not ask for this!! GROW UP and think of someone other than yourselves!!!!
ReplyDeleteI THINK JOHN NEEDS TO STEP UP TO THE PLATE AND BE THE DAD OF 8 KIDS AND I THINK KATE NEEDS TO QUIT THINKING OF HERSELF AND HER AND JOHN GO GET HELP SO THESE KIDS WON'T LIVE A UNHAPPY LIFE IN THE END.IF THEY REALLY WANT TO WORK THINGS OUT IT CAN BE DONE.
