Lost: Great, more questions!

Just when we started getting some answers, last night's episode has left me with a ton of new questions!

Where the hell did Aaron go? Did Kate give him back to Claire's mom? And what happened between the time Kate came back to Jack all hot and heavy... and then appeared at the airport all bitchy and pissed off? Did she find out something that has now made her very irritable? (wait for it... my theory on Kate is coming in a minute!)

What happened to Ben? What favor did he have to do for an old friend? Remember, he promised Widmore that he would kill his daughter. Did Desmond lead Ben to Penny... and did he wind up killing her???

Sayid is in cuffs? Hurley is out of prison? How did these things happen?

What's up with Jack's Grandpa? Where does he keep trying to escape to? Was the "better place" he was trying to go to actually the island? Was he trying to get back to the island by getting on the flight - and did Christian ask him to bring along some shoes so he didn' have to keep wearing those damn sneakers all over the island?

There's a ton more going on with the whole Shepard family... Remember the flashback where Christian gives Jack the watch on his wedding day? The watch belonged to Jack's Grandpa. Was this a way of making sure Jack had something of his Grandfather's so he could one day get to the island?

Aaaaah! My brain hurts. The coolest part of the episode last night, however, was how the characters all exchanged roles for flight number two:
- Lock is now playing the part of Jack's dad
- Ben rushes for the plane last minute, like Hurley did
- Sun is worried about her husband and holding the wedding ring, like Rose did
- Hurley is lugging around a guitar, like Charlie did
- Sayid is in cuffs, like Kate was
- And do you think it's possible that Kate is (here it comes) PREGNANT... like Claire was?????

This show is killing me.

  1. I woke up early just to read what you thought about last night. Here's something you missed: Charlie's father was named Simon and he was a butcher. Locke was being stored at Simon's Butcher shop!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  2. I didn't think about Kate being preggo - Boris you are a genius that makes lots of sense!!!!!!

  3. It's great interacting with a bunch of Lost fans, because people all remember little bits and pieces. Here are my 2 cents.

There are quite a few paralells to the Cronicles of Narnia. Charlotte S. Lewis (CS Lewis), Certain people can and can't return to the island, time changes when going to and from the island, and now, we find out that the station which tracks the Island is called the "Lamp Post".

We've seen that the island works in strange ways to get people back, but Ben probably had a part in getting Sayid on that place. Would've been easy for him to tip off the authorities looking for him. Perhaps that is how Ben got beaten- Sayid DID say it would be unpleasant for him when next they met.
Aaron. Perhaps he was sent to stay with Yi Jeon (I think that's Sun's child's name).
Kate got all hot and heavy on Jack so that he wouldn't ask any questions. It worked. Jack has always been a sucker for Kate, and Kate is almost as good as Ben at manipulating people. Poor dumb Jack. Haha. Sure it's possible that she's pregnant, and it makes a lot of sense! I do like how they all transitioned roles on the plane.
I think Hurley was released from custody already, I remember something that he was still in the mental hospital when the murders began, so they released him. As for how he's on the plane, and why he has the guitar? Simple. Charlie told him to go.
It would seem that the Island has a special place for those who show up there dead. Jack's father is now possibly the embodiment of Jacob, and soon Locke will return and come back to life (as seen in the trailer for next week- hope they didn't embalm him!) It's funny that they brought up the sneakers- it was always funny to see Jack's father on the island in a suit and sneakers.
Good take on things, Boris, and nice catch, Carol! Can't wait til next week!

  4. I think Kate gave Aaron to Clairs mom too. As far as being pregnant, she & Jack supposedly were not together for sometime. Will Lock be alive once on the island again?

  5. Pregnant Kate is a pretty cool theory although not sure that would explain her attitude as she could not know she got pregnant overnight which means if preganant and she knows it then it brings another man into the picture.
Hurley was there b/c Ben's Lawyer said he would get him out of jail in last weeks episode so maybe we are to assume Hurley was given some instructions from the lawyer (although I do like the Charlie theory). Speaking of Charlie any chance Desmonds kid CHarlie is "actually charlie" just caught in a different time like Jin and the french people?
I am also wondering who the man that gave his condolences to Shepard at the airport and was later on the plane is?
Butcher Shop thing is pretty cool so is the preview that shows Locke alive. The van Ben was driving him around spelled out reincarnation just jumbled up.

  6. Here is something else...in the episode when Juliet, Faraday, Miles, Charlotte, Sawyer and Jin found those boats on the Island, they found a water bottle in the boat with the name "Algira Airlines", Juliet commented on it and that was it...this is the same airline that Jack and the rest took back to the Island!

  7. I was thinking about the Algira Airlines water as well, and the shooting... Could that mean that... Jack and the Ocianic 6 become the new "Others"? Perhaps Sawyer and crew were being chased by future Sawyer and crew!

  8. Oh my God...there goes my nose bleed again...

I love LOST, but you guys are crazy slick with all those little details - the van's letters are "reincarnation" jumbled? Damn...just damn...are you all DVR-ing this stuff and skipping work to analyze, because you are making me feel so inadequate.

Anyway, I totally though Kate would be prego because it would just add more conflict - she'd now need to get back off the island or she'd die like the other women. One more thing. I am the only one that thought the whole white flash-time warp - BOOM - we're safe on the island - thing was a cop out?

  9. I thought of one more tidbit. When on the plane, Jack asks Ben "How can you read?" To which Ben replies "My mother tought me".

    Ben's mother died in childbirth.

Boris wants to hear what you have to say!
