It was announced this week that the "Cathy" comic strip, about a fatty-fat who screams "AACK!" while eating pounds of chocolate and never finding a man, is retiring after 34 years. The final strip will run October 3rd.

Introducing the Hopsicle

Time for a road trip to the East Village! A bar down there has introduced the Hopsicle. It's a can of beer that's been infused with sugar and lime juice then frozen for 4 days with a stick poking out. The bartender slices the can in half and you've got one of the best tasting push-pops ever!

Buried church on Google Maps looks like NES controller

This buried church in Ethiopia looks amazingly like a Nintendo controller. The Church of St. George in Lalibela, Ethiopia, was dug out of the earth, apparently by Legend Of Zelda fans from space.
