Aircheck: Angry caller upsets Boris

We've been flooded with requests to post the audio from our angry caller this morning. Here's what happened: A woman claimed that Boris was "picking on women" because he was upset that Miss USA was caught pole dancing. The woman began berating Boris over the phone... then, strangely enough, she wanted him to play a song for her.

Boris freaked, because people not paying attention to what's being said on the air and then yelling at him for something he never said is just one of his "triggers" that can set him off... And because Boris is a big fan of pole dancing! Judge for yourself if he was out of line:

Aircheck: Boris tries to understand Brandi's news

I received a ton of requests to post this one today, so here you go. This morning Brandi read a sentence during her newscast that was so mind-boggling... so cryptic... I just had to go through it line by line to try and comprehend. If you're still confused after hearing it, our listener, Pete, has supplied us with a written transcript below:

Aircheck: Put Pockets (With Video)

Yesterday Brandi was telling us about "Put Pockets" in London that are reaching into unsuspecting people's pockets and leaving them money. Brandi loved the idea, but I thought it was a little creepy:

Aircheck: Is Boris too mean to the listeners?

I was talking with someone at the station today and they said that I am too mean to the listeners. I completely disagree... in fact, I think I kiss the listeners' asses a little too much. I know that my job depends on people listening, so I find myself being nicer to the listeners than I am to people in my everyday life. Anyway, these are the two specific examples I was given. What do you think?

Broadcasting from the Orange County Choppers studio

You may have noticed that WRRV is now broadcasting from the Orange County Choppers studio. Boris celebrates winning the Chili Cookoff by singing a victory song

BORIS WINS!

As predicted, I was victorious at the first annual Cumulus Chili Cook Off! Boris took home the chili trophy and "Best Of Show" award for the "Cha-Ching Chili". I also got a 4.5 out of 5 from CIA chef, Mark Elias, earning a very close 2nd place in the Chef's Choice category.

This comes as no surprise, as I spent most of the morning telling Brandi that I would win, and that my chili is the greatest:

Aircheck 01-05-09: New Year's Resolution

This morning we talked about how I've decided to do more social networking this year. After the show today, I was flooded with emails from people who wanted me to post today's call from Brandi's #1 fan, Jason. Jason is my new challenge. Right now, he worships Brandi and could care less about Boris. It is now my new mission to make Jason my biggest fan. This will not be easy. Jason has a deep, deep love for Brandi and seems almost impervious to my Hudson Valley Radio Legend powers. But, mark my words, before I am through Jason will be my biggest fan!
