Fireworks mishap at the HV Renegades game

Here's video of the fireworks fail at the Hudson Valley Renegades game on Friday night. Forward to 1:50 to see the first problem firework fly through the fence and down the 3rd base line. The real scary one happens at 2:28 when a rocket zooms over the spectators' heads and lands on top of one of the luxury boxes.

The incident is currently under investigation.

After my rant about phone books this morning, I was asked to re-post this from last month. I'm going to make an addition, however:

I actually did come up with a use for the phone book. Look up businesses before you go shopping. If they're stupid enough to throw money away by advertising in the phone book don't go there.

I hope the phone companies take a hint and stop dropping these things in our yards! If you don't want to get a phone book, this website can help you unsubscribe... not sure if it'll actually work, but it's worth a shot. (It does work, but I found out the hard way you need 60-days notice)

WRRV Bowl-A-Thon a success!

Last night's WRRV Bowl-A-Thon was soooo much fun! Thanks to everyone who came out. We raised over $2,000.00 and gave away a ton of prizes, including Green Day tickets! Also, thanks to Ed Kowalczyk who braved a pretty bad head cold to put on an awesome performance.

Winnebago Man

The documentary film "Winnebago Man" opens this weekend in select theaters (down in NYC). It follows the real life story of the angry man who became an internet sensation when outtakes from his Winnebago infomercial were leaked to the world.
